What the soil and the slope are to the wine product, the choice of tech­no­logy on which the stor­ies are told and the wines are presen­ted is to the de­vel­op­ment of the e-com­merce plat­form. For smal­ler SMEs, this means ev­al­u­at­ing sys­tems based on lists of re­quire­ments and not shy­ing away from open source solu­tions. We have defined a spe­cif­ic wine ERP that works seam­lessly with the e-shop and PIM (Product In­form­a­tion Man­age­ment). The con­tent is kept up to date via a CMS.

Busi­ness with e-shop solu­tions is boom­ing. The more com­pan­ies in the same sec­tor are work­ing with them, the more im­port­ant it is to po­s­i­tion your­self in the di­git­al mar­ket. With Gol­doni, we are pur­su­ing the path of dif­fer­en­ti­ation. Not a stand­ard solu­tion, but one that matches the iden­tity of the wine pro­du­cer. Col­ours, fonts and a good shop­ping ex­per­i­en­ce play im­port­ant roles here. To keep the en­tire cus­tom­er jour­ney un­der con­trol, we also design wine la­bels and pack­aging ma­ter­i­al.

After the pur­chase is be­fore the pur­chase. To­geth­er with the Gol­doni team, we there­fore ana­lysed the check-out jour­ney in de­tail and re­de­signed it. Cus­tom­ers should feel that they are in good hands, no mat­ter where they make their pur­chase. Clar­ity and cus­tom­is­ab­il­ity are at the fore­front of the design and func­tion­al­it­ies. And at the end of the pro­cess, the an­ti­cip­a­tion of de­liv­ery (in­clud­ing a little sur­prise).
