What you will do

• Translate product visions and ideas into sophisticated design concepts using wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Designing user-centric experiences that are intuitive and engaging
• Designing high-quality user interfaces
• Developing complex products in collaboration with clients, users and our interdisciplinary team
• Presenting and discussing your work with clients and colleagues

What you bring to the table

• At least 5+ years of experience in UX and UI design features for mobile and web applications.
• Been on the cutting edge of digital design developments for 5+ years
• Excellent with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro)
• You can think both creatively and analytically
• Experience in developing design systems in an iterative approach 
• You have a broad perspective and an open mind
• Good knowledge of German, Swiss German and English. Swiss German is our colloquial language
• Familiarity with Swiss culture, its values, preferences and idiosyncrasies
• You are well versed in current art and cultural events

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a web project using React/Next.js, Tailwind CSS with a Django/Wagtail back-end

• Utilizing development best practices to achieve high quality results

• Design, develop and implement front-end software functionality

• Full cycle of live system development — new features, maintenance and improvements, support and bug fixes

• Collaborate with the team to deliver customer-facing product functionality

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Software development

• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript / Frontend development, Next.js specifically

• Solid knowledge of Figma, Git, CSS, Tailwind CSS is a plus

• Knowledge and understanding of optimisation, accessibility and SEO standards

• You are a team player, living the Scrum values

Bonus

• Basic knowledge of testing patterns is a plus

• Used to working in Atlassian Jira and Confluence

• An eye for design and familiarity with design systems
