GoCo is a web app that combines communication, document management and standardised services on one digital platform. We developed the digital platform from two user perspectives, that of the administrative staff and that of the tenant. For both users, it was important to achieve a precise product, specifically: to develop only the most useful functions that support the advantages of digital collaboration. For this the design is also kept functional. A "less is more" approach serves users who are not in daily contact with digital services.
The aim of GoCo is to make administrative and communication processes more efficient, simpler and faster. To this end, GoCo ensures a high level of accessibility. As a WebApp, GoCo benefits from free browser-based translation tools that convert the language of the entire platform at the click of a button. GoCo is also setting a clear agenda in regards to digital participation. GoCo does not aim to be an internal Facebook for the cooperative, but rather to strengthen the administrative relationship between the management and tenants, and offer precise channels for infomation exchange. GoCo enables seamless knowledge transfer, 24/7 contact options and target group-orientated information delivery.
GoCo is developed independently and is versatile. GoCo is also designed for all standard screen sizes. As a WebApp, GoCo bypasses the download via Apple Store or Google Play. However, app fans have the option of installing a GoCo app icon for mobile phones and tablets.
Communication between administration and tenants can be limited to individual estates, groups or even individuals in GoCo, and can also be sent via email or SMS if desired. All main tenants can access their personal documents. In order to benefit from information and marketplace offers, GoCo also enables the registration of secondary tenants. The most important services are standardised: Repair notifications, washcards and spare keys can be easily recorded and forwarded to a third-party system (ERP).
GoCo is aimed at housing cooperatives that are dealing with the topic of "digitalisation of work processes". GoCo is designed to complement ERP such as Immotop2 or GARAIO REM, by focusing on improved and standardised communication between administration and tenants, facility managers and cooperative commissions. The administration are provided with an intuitive and well-structured sorftware. Thanks to its modular technical structure, GoCo is future-proof and open to the integration of new services. It also offers customised solutions for those cooperatives that want data sovereignty and independence from third parties.
