GoCo is a web app that com­bines com­mu­nic­a­tion, doc­u­ment man­age­ment and stand­ard­ised ser­vices on one di­git­al plat­form. We de­ve­loped the di­git­al plat­form from two user per­spect­ives, that of the ad­min­is­trat­ive staff and that of the ten­ant. For both users, it was im­port­ant to achieve a pre­cise product, spe­cif­ic­ally: to de­vel­op only the most use­ful func­tions that sup­port the ad­vant­ages of di­git­al col­lab­or­a­tion. For this the design is also kept func­tion­al. A "less is more" ap­proach serves users who are not in daily con­tact with di­git­al ser­vices.

GoCo goals

The aim of GoCo is to make ad­min­is­trat­ive and com­mu­nic­a­tion pro­cesses more ef­fi­cient, sim­pler and faster. To this end, GoCo en­sures a high level of ac­cess­ib­il­ity. As a WebApp, GoCo be­ne­fits from free browser-based trans­la­tion tools that con­vert the lan­guage of the en­tire plat­form at the click of a but­ton. GoCo is also set­ting a clear agenda in re­gards to di­git­al par­ti­cip­a­tion. GoCo does not aim to be an in­tern­al Face­book for the co­op­er­at­ive, but rather to strengthen the ad­min­is­trat­ive re­la­tion­ship between the man­age­ment and ten­ants, and of­fer pre­cise chan­nels for in­foma­tion ex­change. GoCo en­ables seam­less know­ledge trans­fer, 24/7 con­tact op­tions and tar­get group-ori­ent­ated in­form­a­tion de­liv­ery.

GoCo wins for tenants

GoCo is de­ve­loped in­de­pend­ently and is ver­sat­ile. GoCo is also de­signed for all stand­ard screen sizes. As a WebApp, GoCo by­passes the down­load via Apple Store or Google Play. However, app fans have the op­tion of in­stalling a GoCo app icon for mo­bile phones and tab­lets.  

Com­mu­nic­a­tion between ad­min­is­tra­tion and ten­ants can be lim­ited to in­di­vidu­al es­tates, groups or even in­di­vidu­als in GoCo, and can also be sent via email or SMS if de­sired. All main ten­ants can ac­cess their per­son­al doc­u­ments. In or­der to be­ne­fit from in­form­a­tion and mar­ket­place of­fers, GoCo also en­ables the re­gis­tra­tion of sec­ond­ary ten­ants. The most im­port­ant ser­vices are stand­ard­ised: Re­pair no­ti­fic­a­tions, wash­cards and spare keys can be eas­ily re­cor­ded and for­war­ded to a third-party sys­tem (ERP).

And wins for admin

GoCo is aimed at hous­ing co­op­er­at­ives that are deal­ing with the top­ic of "di­git­al­isa­tion of work pro­cesses". GoCo is de­signed to com­ple­ment ERP such as Im­mo­top2 or GARAIO REM, by fo­cus­ing on im­proved and stand­ard­ised com­mu­nic­a­tion between ad­min­is­tra­tion and ten­ants, fa­cil­ity man­agers and co­op­er­at­ive com­mis­sions. The ad­min­is­tra­tion are provided with an in­tu­it­ive and well-struc­tured sorft­ware. Thanks to its mod­u­lar tech­nic­al struc­ture, GoCo is fu­ture-proof and open to the in­teg­ra­tion of new ser­vices. It also of­fers cus­tom­ised solu­tions for those co­op­er­at­ives that want data sov­er­eignty and in­de­pend­en­ce from third parties.

The everyday of GoCo

Auto­ma­tion of work pro­cesses - sup­port of the most im­port­ant com­mu­nic­a­tion and work pro­cesses between ad­min­is­tra­tion and ten­ants - in­clud­ing status up­dates and mes­sages. 


Faster, more pre­cise, more ef­fi­cient - The per­son­al­ised com­mu­nic­a­tion of in­form­a­tion helps to reach the ne­ces­sary re­cip­i­ents (in­di­vidu­al ten­ants, apart­ments, floors, es­tates, all mem­bers). In­form­a­tion is com­mu­nic­ated via GoCo mes­sage, e-mail and SMS. 


Clear ad­min­is­tra­tion - the lo­gin area for ad­min­is­tra­tion is clearly laid out and can be cus­tom­ised to suit in­di­vidu­al needs. 


Lean and simple - Mul­ti­lin­gual­ism sim­pli­fies com­mu­nic­a­tion with users from dif­fer­ent lan­guage re­gions. The design sup­ports ac­cess­ib­il­ity for every­one: less is more, to en­sure high level of ac­cept­ance from the launch. 


Ex­pand­able over time - User needs and tech­nic­al pos­sib­il­it­ies are con­stantly chan­ging over time: GoCo's mod­u­lar sys­tem is cap­able of in­teg­rat­ing new re­quire­ments whenev­er re­quired.
