Crafft act­ively sup­ports health pro­mo­tion and pre­ven­tion in Can­ton Zurich.

To­geth­er with the In­sti­tute for Epi­demi­ology, Bio­s­tat­ist­ics and Pre­ven­tion (EBPI) and the Uni­versity of Zurich (UZH), we de­vel­op con­cepts and meas­ures which are im­ple­men­ted on be­half of the Can­ton Zurich Health De­part­ment. The cur­rent fo­cus is on seni­or cit­izens and fa­cil­it­at­ing ways to com­bat loneli­ness and grow older as health­ily and act­ively as pos­sible.

Our user em­power­ment strategy is based on nu­mer­ous meas­ures that are con­tinu­ously im­ple­men­ted. Per­man­ent data col­lec­tion and in­ter­views with the tar­get group provide evid­ence for the suc­cess of the meas­ures and val­id­ate the in­vest­ments made.

Soon to come: a vir­tu­al tour of the Can­ton Zurich as it looked in the 1950s and 1960s, bring­ing valu­able memor­ies to life.The com­munity plat­form also en­cour­ages the ex­change of re­cipes from grandma's kit­chen and a whole lot more.

​Thanks to an agile set-up, new fea­tures are con­tinu­ously be­ing launched and old ones im­proved. The new web plat­form ge­sund-zh.ch was launched in 2020 with con­tent geared to­wards the over 65’s, fo­cus­ing on well-be­ing, nu­tri­tion and ex­er­cise.

Uni­versity of Zurich x Crafft

Crafft star­ted out po­s­i­tion­ing Pre­ven­tion and Health Pro­mo­tion Can­ton Zurich in­de­pend­ently, bear­ing in mind its con­nec­tion to Can­ton Zurich and the Uni­versity. We reg­u­larly and on­go­ingly pro­duce print and di­git­al products.
