A digital transformation that enhances the Ghidossi wine brand experience.

Approach

The names Chi­odi and Ghidossi are two Ti­cino icons known for pro­du­cing ex­cep­tion­al wines and cre­at­ing mem­or­able ex­per­i­en­ces for their guests. Our task was to unite the two brands in an e-com­merce shop and to re­fresh them at the same time.   

Both wine brands have a strong and ded­ic­ated fol­low­ing in Ti­cino. The aim was to raise aware­ness of the two brands in Ger­man-speak­ing Switzer­land in or­der to open up a wider mar­ket for their rich wine­mak­ing tra­di­tion with its in­nov­at­ive pro­cesses, sus­tain­able prac­tices, stun­ning fa­cil­it­ies and ex­cel­lent wines. 

Challenge

The team at Gruppo Ghidossi asked us to de­vel­op a new design sys­tem and re­vamp their di­git­al pres­en­ce to high­light their brand iden­tity, strengthen cus­tom­er loy­alty, in­crease dir­ect sales and re­flect the at­ten­tion to de­tail and crafts­man­ship they put in­to their products.

Ergebnis

By cre­at­ing a new design sys­tem, con­tent strategy and tech­no­lo­gic­al frame­work, we cre­ated a com­plete di­git­al brand trans­form­a­tion. We in­tro­duced new fea­tures and ex­per­i­en­ces to the web­site to im­prove the cus­tom­er jour­ney, es­tab­lish brand rituals and give cus­tom­ers a reas­on to en­gage with the brand more fre­quently and on a deep­er level.

In ad­di­tion to the brand­ing and de­vel­op­ment of the on­line shop, we were giv­en the task of design­ing la­bels for the dif­fer­ent wines of Can­tine Ghidossi. For this, oen­o­lo­gist Dav­ide Ghidossi won the gold medal for the most beau­ti­ful la­bels at Ex­pov­ina 2023.
